Das Team von PFALZ BBQ lädt alle Grillfans herzlich ein zur Generalprobe zur Deutschen Grill- und BBQ-Meisterschaft. Am 05.07.2014 möchten wir einen Probedurchlauf starten. Dieser soll den gesamten Tagesablauf unter Wettkampfbedingungen simulieren. Hierzu sind alle Neugierigen und Grill-Begeisterte recht herzlich eingeladen. Das Ganze ist in der Hauptsache die Generalprobe für unser Team, um eventuelle Schwachstellen aufzudecken und unsere Abläufe zu optimieren. Darum wird das Essensangebot für Gäste und Besucher leider begrenzt sein.
Wir stecken am Freitag unser Wettkampfkaro ab, bauen unser Equipment auf und bereiten alles vor. Am Samstag grillen und servieren wir unsere Kreationen für die DGM. Das erfolgt zu den festgelegten Zeiten, je Gang für 6 Personen. Zu jedem Gang servieren wir einen passenden Wein. Diese 6 Plätze pro Gang können ab sofort kostenpflichtig reserviert werden. Da die Tischplätze rar sind, sollten sich Interessierte schnell unter ts@pfalz-bbq.de melden! Was wir bei den einzelnen Gängen genau servieren, werden wir nicht vorab bekannt geben. Wir werden natürlich für die anderen Gäste die keinen Tischplatz ergattern konnten, je nachdem wie es die Zeit erlaubt, kleinere Portionen zubereiten und zu fairen Preisen verkaufen. Selbstverständlich wird auch für Getränke bestens gesorgt sein. Für unser Grillteam ist diese Generalprobe sehr wichtig und wir hoffen auf eurer Verständnis, dass wir uns in erster Linie um uns, einen koordinierten Ablauf und die Speisen zu den festgelegten Zeiten auf den Jurorentisch zu bekommen, kümmern können. Die Extra-Gerichte, die wir anbieten wollen, sind Häppchen oder Fingerfood die wir zusätzlich zu unserem straffen Tagesprogramm mitlaufen zu lassen möchten. Je nach dem wie gut uns dieser Spagat gelingt, wird es mehr oder weniger Probierportionen geben. Den Tag wollen wir jedenfalls abends mit einer gemeinsamen Party ausklingen lassen.
Der Tagesverlauf der Generalprobe ist wie folgt geplant:
Ab 12.30 Uhr Gang 1 – Bratwurst mit Beilage (Trilogie von der Pfälzer-Bratwurst alle selbst gemacht)
Ab 13.20 Uhr Gang 2 – Spareribs mit Beilage (nur noch 1 Platz)
14.10 Uhr Gang 3 – Fisch mit Beilage (ausverkauft)
Ab 15.00 Uhr Gang 4 – Vegetarisches BBQ mit Beilage (nur noch 2 Plätze)
Ab 15.50 Uhr Gang 5 – Hohe Rippe vom Rind mit Beilage (nur noch 2 Plätze)
16.40 Uhr Gang 6 – Beef Brisket (Rinderbrust 15 Stunden im Smoker gegart) mit Beilage (nur noch 2 Plätze)
Ab 17.30 Uhr Gang 7 – Dessert vom Grill (ausverkauft)
um 18.30 Uhr Partytime
Das Wettkampfkaro wird abgesperrt und soll während der Generalprobe nur vom Grillteam betreten werden. Bei der DGM wird das auch so sein damit die Teams in Ruhe ihre Arbeit verrichten können. Ausnahmen sind natürlich die 6 Personen die am Gästetisch ihr Essen genießen dürfen.
In unserem Zelt wird hierfür ein Tisch mit 6 Plätzen stehen an dem wir die glücklichen Platzinhaber wie in einem Restaurant verwöhnen. Wir werden auch kleine Bewertungskarten für ehrliche Kommentare und eine persönliche Bewertung verteilen.
Da das PFALZ BBQ Grillteam tagsüber schwer im Stress sein wird, wäre es toll, wenn sich ein paar Fans und Freunde des Teams für die Bewirtung der Besucher zur Verfügung stellen würden. Sprich beim Verkauf der Speisen und Getränke. Bitte Mail an ts@pfalz-bbq.de
